Urschel Comitrol Processor 2100

This URSCHEL COMITROL 2100 provides maximum utilization of all types of meat for flaked and formed products, as well as other applications including bakery rework.

Some products it can handle;
Almonds -
Paste for bakery, marzipan, and confectionery fillings, using whole or broken almonds. Condition product and use cutting heads for granular to meal texture or microcut heads for smooth, buttery consistency.

Aloe Vera -
Reduce leaves or fillets for beverages or reduce freeze-dried aloe vera extract. Precut into strips not exceeding 3/8" (10 mm) Approximate hourly capacity feeding aloe vera fillets using a microcut head: 2,000 lb (900 kg).

Apple:
A wide range of particle sizes suitable for sauce preparation, pastry fillings, or juice extraction can be obtained from raw, canned, or frozen segments and pieces. Choose from a wide selection of cutting head opening sizes for particle sizes larger than 1/64" (0.4 mm). Use microcut heads for finest degree of reduction. Chop or grind apples to 1/4" (6.4 mm) or smaller and pump to the Processor for minimum aeration. Approximate hourly capacity: 12,000 lb (5,500 kg) using 9,390 revolutions per minute impeller speed and 30 horsepower motor.

Dehydrated Apples
1/32 to 1/4" (0.8 to 6.4 mm) particles from a wide selection of cutting head sizes. Approximate hourly capacity: 2,000 lb (900 kg) of 1/16" (1.6 mm) particles using 3,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed and the Comitrol® Processor Model 1700.

Apricots:
Puree or beverage nectar from fresh, pitted fruit using an appropriate microcut head. Disperses black spots in order to eliminate their appearance in final product. Approximate capacity: 15 to 25 gallons (55 to 95 liters) per minute using 9,390 revolutions per minute impeller speed, 30 horsepower motor, and any style of cutting enclosure.

Bacon Pieces:
1/32 to 1/4" (0.8 to 6.4 mm) particles from frozen or cooked, chilled product. Select cutting head from wide range of particle opening sizes. Approximate hourly capacity of 1/4" (6.4 mm) particles hourly, using 5,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed, 30 horsepower motor and 17" cutting enclosure: 5,000 lb (2,200 kg). Frozen bacon must be thawed or uniformly tempered to 25° F (-3.8° C) or above and precut into 2" (50 mm) pieces before feeding to the Processor to obtain good particle size and identity.

Bakery & Snack Foods
Produces a uniform particle size with excellent appearance and texture for the production of snack foods and other masa products. Consult Urschel Laboratories or your Urschel representative for desired particle size information.

Bakery Goods:
1/32" (0.8 mm) or larger particles suitable for rework, toppings, coatings, meal, or crumbs. Feed rejected cookies, biscuits, crackers, tortillas, and bakery items into cutting heads of selected opening size. Approximate hourly capacity using 3,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed using the Comitrol® Processor Model 1700: 1,000 to 3,500 lb (500 to 1,600 kg).

Beef:
1/16 to 1/4" (1.6 to 6.4 mm) flakes with flavor, texture and processing properties superior to ground beef. Patties and meat balls resist shrinkage, crumbling and have the bite of choice cuts. Choose from a wide selection of cutting heads. Precut into 1/2 or 3/4" (12.7 or 19.1 mm) pieces for uniform blending of lean and fat using a coarse Comitrol head or conventional chopper. Frozen meat must be thawed or uniformly tempered to 25° F (-4° C) or above before entering the Comitrol Processor. Approximate hourly capacity using the Comitrol Processor Model 2100 with a 40 horsepower motor: 5,000 to 12,000 lb (2,200 to 5,500 kg). Approximate hourly capacity using a Comitrol Processor Model 5600 with a 100 horsepower motor: 10,000 to 25,000 lb (4,400 to 11,000 kg).

Comitrol Processor Line Infant foods, soup bases, and special diet recipes require smaller particles and maximum cutting of fibers. Use microcut heads for finest degree of reduction. Chop or grind product 1/4" (6.4 mm) or smaller and pump into the Processor for minimum aeration.

Bread:
1/32" (0.8 mm) or larger particles for crumbs and breading preparations using fully dried or extruded bread in diced or broken form for easy feeding. Select cutting head from full range of opening sizes. With microcut head particle sizes down to 200 microns can be achieved. Approximate hourly capacity: 3,000 lb (1,400 kg) of 1/16" (1.6 mm) particles using 3,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed using the Comitrol® Processor Model 1700.

Cereal & Grains:
Produce particles from 18 to 50 mesh sieve using cutting heads with suitable openings. Capacity is 1,200 to 2,800 lbs. (540 to 1,250 kg) hourly at 3,600 revolutions per minute impeller speed and 17" cutting enclosure. Use microcut heads to obtain particles of 100 mesh or smaller. Use of air classification system following the Comitrol Processor allows over-size particles to be separated and rerun. Slice dry grains lengthwise using the Comitrol Processor slicing head. Sharp, renewable edge inserts cut each grain cleanly with minimum hull separation and damage. Capacity is 2,500 lbs. (1,150 kg) hourly at .050" (1.3 mm) slice thickness using 1,800 revolutions per minute impeller speed and 10 horsepower motor.

Comitroll Processor Line Flour particles in 60 to 120 mesh sieve range from whole, broken or second-head dry rice. Use microcut head with 9,390 revolutions per minute impeller speed, 30 horsepower motor and 17" cutting chamber.

Air classification system following the Comitrol Processor allows oversize particles to be separated and rerun. Capacity is 3,000 to 4,000 lbs. (1,350 to 1,800 kg) hourly using any suitable controlled feeding method.

We provide export crating, container loading and overseas freight services at additional cost.

For loose container load (LCL), we arrange an export crate using treated wood according to the machine size (to protect the machine from damage during transport) and crate the machine at our warehouse.

For full container load (FCL), we bring the empty container, load the equipment, and lash/secure them inside the container at our warehouse. We can then arrange either seafreight or airfreight to the customer's nominated destination sea/airports.

We usually arrange on the CFR (Cost and Freight) basis as per Incoterms.

Marine insurance, applicable local duties/taxes, custom clearance and delivery to customer's site in their destination country are to the customer's account.

We regularly provide this service for customers in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the USA and Asia.
