Stainless steel construction

The GS-S3/2700 auger conveyor is manufactured entirely from stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance and suitability for food-grade operations. This material selection supports compliance with hygiene standards required in food manufacturing and eases cleaning after product changeovers. Stainless steel also ensures mechanical strength under continuous operating conditions.

Direct drive motor system

The auger screw is directly coupled to a 3.0 kW TEFC motor through a gear reducer, optimizing torque transmission and minimizing mechanical wear. The direct drive system eliminates the need for belts or chains, reducing maintenance requirements and improving long-term operational reliability. Operating at 1400 rpm, the motor is designed for consistent material throughput in continuous production lines.

Hopper vibrator for flow assistance

A 0.03 kW eccentric vibrator is mounted to the hopper to assist with the consistent flow of powders or granules into the auger screw. This feature is particularly effective for cohesive or fine powders that may otherwise bridge or rat-hole in the hopper. The vibrator enhances reliability during operation, minimizing manual intervention and reducing the risk of process interruptions.
