Superchill Cooling Tower MCPT 1089

The SUPERCHILL Cooling Tower includes:

1. SUPERCHILL Water Chiller
2. Platform for Cooling Tower
3. Various Tanks, Pumps, Pipework and Valves
4. Controls for System
5. Any manuals or spare parts

Machine will be sold “as is, where is” as inspected with all faults (if any). This includes items 1 to 5. The machine is located in Braeside.


PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The complete range of Superchill “MPCT” Cooling Towers utilise the induced draught principle of operation.

Warm return water enters the cooling tower at the inlet manifold passes through fixed non-clogging spray nozzles and is distributed over the heat exchange material where the cooling process takes place.

The fan at the top of the cooling tower draws ambient air in at the base of the unit.

The air comes into contact with the water droplets passing in counter flow through the heat exchange material. Heat exchange is affected by evaporation and convection.

Drift eliminators are mounted above the distribution system to prevent carry-over of water droplets, which would other wise, be drawn from the cooling tower by the fan.
